Originally from Melbourne, Ian studied graphic design at RMIT, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He started work at George Patterson Advertising agency.
For fifteen years Ian was a designer and Art Director with an International Adverting Agency.
His experience included eight years in Canada, East Africa, Asia and Sydney.
Ian choose Perth to raise a family, starting as General Manager of Ogilvy and Mather.
His later experiences included founding Lynian Craft and partner in Thumbprint.
Graduating in Fine Art at Claremont School of Art, majoring in Print Making in 1993.
He has been lecturing in Graphic design at North Metropolitan Tafe for the past fifteen years.
Any spare time is working on small watercolour seascapes as the Ocean is his passion.
